How to Make a Moodprofile from Instagram in Figma

The fastest way to turn a Instagram profile into a Figma moodprofile β€” no manual downloads, no cropped images.

Every designer has wasted an afternoon screenshotting Instagram publicaciones, cropping them, and dragging them one by one into Figma. There is a much faster way: download the entire profile as a ZIP file and import everything at once. Here is how.

How to import a Instagram profile into Figma

Three steps to go from Instagram profile to Figma moodprofile in minutes.

  1. 1

Download your Instagram profile as a ZIP

Install the free IgDownCloud Chrome extension, navigate to any public Instagram profile, and click the download button. You will receive a ZIP file with every image and video from the profile, numbered and organized.

  2. 2

    Unzip and open Figma

Extract the ZIP on your desktop. In Figma, create a new file and use File → Place Image (or drag and drop) to import the images. Figma accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF β€” all formats Instagram uses.

  3. 3

    Arrange your moodprofile

Select all images and use Figma's auto-layout or tidy up feature to create a clean grid. Add text annotations, color palette swatches from the images, and share the frame with your team. Your moodprofile is done.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import a Instagram profile directly into Figma?
Not directly β€” Figma does not have a native Instagram integration. The fastest workaround is to download the profile as a ZIP with IgDownCloud and then drag the images into Figma.
What image formats does Instagram use?
Most Instagram images are JPEG or PNG. Videos are MP4. All of these are fully supported by Figma, so nothing gets lost in the import.
How many images can I import into Figma at once?
Figma handles large batch imports well. Select all the images from your ZIP folder and drag them onto the canvas at once. For very large profiles (1000+ images) we recommend importing in batches of 200.
Does IgDownCloud add watermarks to the images?
Never. IgDownCloud delivers every image exactly as it appears on Instagram β€” original resolution, original quality, zero modifications.
